Site doesn't load on specific computer

I just updated the site on a desktop computer, and tested it locally. It worked fine! Then, I decided to have a local version of the site on my laptop for a meeting with no Internet on the facilities. I copied the entire folder over, but the site won't load. I can see the preloader bar load across the page, but afterwards the page is blank, and there is no error warning.

The site that is online loads perfectly fine on the laptop, so I've re-copied the entire folder with the local files to make sure I haven't missed anything. Still, the site won't load beyond the preloader. I've also downloaded the files directly from the online server, since the online site loads fine, but the problem still persists.

As a test, I used the original desktop computer to access the laptop's files, and loaded the index.html page via the network without copying it over. It loaded fine! Seems like the problem is with the laptop, but I can't figure it out. I'm using the same OS and Safari version on both the laptop and desktop. I've tried Safari and Firefox, downloaded a fresh Flash plugin, and restarted the laptop to the same results.
